Column Of Julianus

Welcome to the Julianus Column, one of the significant Roman-era structures that has survived to the present day in Ankara's Ulus district. Also known as the Belkıs Minaret, this historical column is believed to have been erected in 362 AD to commemorate the arrival of Roman Emperor Julian in Ankara. Approximately 15 meters high, the column is constructed from stacked stone blocks and features a Corinthian capital.
