Kırzade Fountain

I would now like to introduce the Kırzade Fountain, located in the Gülbahar Hatun neighborhood of Trabzon’s Ortahisar district. Dating back to the reign of Yavuz Sultan Selim, this fountain is one of Trabzon’s historic water structures from the Ottoman era. Fountains, which once met the water needs of local residents, also served as vital gathering points for daily life and neighborhood culture.
