Hıdırlık Mosque is one of the important historical and religious landmarks located on Hıdırlık Hill in the center of Çorum. The present mosque was built in 1889 on the site of an earlier place of worship. With its use of stone and brick, traditional architectural character and historic surroundings, it represents a notable part of Çorum’s cultural heritage from the Ottoman period.
The shrines and memorial sites dedicated to Suhayb al-Rumi, Ubayd Ghazi and Kereb Ghazi in the surrounding area also make Hıdırlık an important place of visitation. Its historical atmosphere and spiritual significance offer visitors an opportunity to discover Çorum’s past and religious heritage.
