Çorum Bedesten is a cultural and commercial complex created in the city center to revive the traditional bedesten bazaar culture. Inspired by a historic bedesten known to have existed in Çorum during the 1500s but no longer surviving today, the complex combines traditional architectural elements with the functions of a modern marketplace. It includes spaces for local products, handicrafts, souvenirs, food and beverages.
With its central location, the Bedesten offers visitors an opportunity to experience Çorum’s local culture, traditional flavors and shopping life in one place.
