Roman Baths

Welcome to the Roman Baths Open-Air Museum and Archaeological Site, located on Çankırı Street in Ulus, the historical center of Ankara. This structure, one of the most important Roman-era remains in Ankara, bears the traces of a large bath complex built in the 3rd century.

While exploring the site, you can see the cold, lukewarm, and hot sections of the baths, remnants of the underfloor heating system, and stone artifacts from different periods. These remains offer a close look at Roman bath culture and the advanced architectural understanding of the era.

The Roman Baths, an important part of Ulus's rich historical fabric, is a must-see for those who want to witness Ankara's Roman past and discover the traces of ancient Ankyra.
